This leaves beautiful cut facets which mean no sanding is required. After drying, the spoon receives a final shaping by knife. The spoon is then burnished using a smooth Scottish pebble leaving a silky feeling to the wood. Finally the wood is then sealed using organic food grade linseed oil.\r\n\r\nThis eating spoon makes a wonderful daily use item and is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It equally travels well either in a lunchbox, backpack or even a shirt pocket. Treat yourself or a friend to something that will be loved, used and grow old with you. With use, wooden spoons like this develop a lovely aged patina.\r\n\r\nSpoon care- Hand wash using soap and water and leave to air dry.
