The front fabric is carefully pieced together from fabrics that have been chosen with summer in mind. The fabrics used are in shades of lime, turquoise, jade, and apple green. The strap and the back are both made from an intense lime furnishing fabric, and are lined in an ivory cotton. The fastening is a simple crochet loop in a co-ordinating bright green yarn, with a vintage green button hand stitched to the front of the bag. \r\n\r\nI make my feature fabrics from scraps I have left from other projects, and build up the fabric appliques with co-ordinating fancy yarns and machine embroidery. There are fluffy yarn ends, some loose edges, small details that add texture and are not faults, but a deliberate choice made during the making process. This finish is my preferred aesthetic and doesn't impact on how well made this item is. It's simply a style choice.\r\n\r\nTop to bottom - 24cm approximately in centre of bag.\r\nWidth - 24cm at top, 33cm at base.\r\n\r\nThe strap is 5.5cm wide and 97cm long, making it a comfortable shoulder bag. It may be long enough for petite people to use as a cross body bag but I make no promises.
