The lining is a sparkling metallic Essex Linen in blue and silver, which felt like the perfect partner to the cool snowy background of the print. Both layers are interfaced with woven cotton for strength and longevity, and I've also added a layer of soft fleece to give a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand.\r\n\r\nThe engraved silver metal frame of the purse is hand stitched into place using a toning perle cotton. The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the top of the frame and 10cm (4 inches) across at the bottom, where I've boxed off the corners to give a little depth to the bottom of the purse of 3.5cm (1.5 inches).
