This series of drawings was inspired in the beginning by the patterns formed by leaves in my garden and as I explored the idea, the drawings became more like ribbons, meeting and twisting. In this drawing the ribbons moved apart, becoming more braid-like, with smaller strands joining and tying together the main sections, moving diagonally across the page. The greens and blues give this drawing an organic feel, true to its roots in the natural world, but I find that every viewer brings their own interpretation to these drawings.\r\n\r\nUsing artist-quality coloured pencils on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white colour mount, with backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag.
