The outer ring of pottery is the type used for blue jasper ware, with the colour throughout the clay. These pieces have mainly come from broken plates, and some have edge patterns. The rest of the blue pottery is old transferware, and the centre piece is a lovely flower. We have tumbled the pottery so there are no sharp edges. The back of the hanger is top quality laser cut plywood. \r\n\r\nThe hanger is 9.5 cm across and 8 mm thick.  It comes on a 10 cm cotton cord.  If you would prefer a longer cord please let us know the length you would like.\r\n  \r\nOur pottery wall hangers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches.  Each piece of pottery is unique, so each wall hanger is unique.  Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of their charm.  We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.\r\n\r\nThe wall hanger will be delivered by Royal Mail.
