Then I create a background card  of dyes, shimmery inks and stamped images .I then layer vintage and Liberty  fabrics on to the base .All pieces are stitched together. Embellishments are then added and everything attached firmly to the book front.\r\nTo finish off I add co-ordinating silky ribbons to the binding.\r\n\r\nThe book has thick, hard back covers and contains 36 pages of 150gsm (heavyweight) unlined, white cartridge paper, therefore suitable for watercolours too. It is wiro (spiral) bound.\r\nSIZE:  A5,  medium  notebook ;  8 1/4''  x 6'' ( inches ) 205mm  x 150mm \r\n\r\nCOLOUR: A striking  combination of blues, purple, pink  and gold  with gold stitching .The hardback  book is covered ( front only ) with turquoise  mulberry paper . \r\n\r\nI hope you find the time to look at the other items in my shop \r\nhttp://folksy.com/shops/AliDufty\r\nFor ‘Fusspots’ felted bowls , knitted/ crocheted homewares and accessories.
