I thought it was a fortress at first glimpse but then realised it was a residence. So impressive and atmospheric. On the way home I took some photos. That was a day of really freaky weather with a month of rain in 24 hours. Further along as we approached Alston, we couldn't see the road edges but could just make out the white line in the middle of the road to steer by. Very exciting....\r\nThis is an original watercolour on acid free paper using professional paints. \r\nThe painting measures 8.5 x 11.25 inches and will benefit from being mounted and then framed as pictured in one of the photos\r\nIt will be sent out in a stiffened cello bag using first class signed for post.
