It's mainly found in Canada where the ancient Canadians believed that the stone must have fallen from the northern lights and was filled with frozen fire.  The iridescent colours in it are beautiful.  \r\n\r\nI have handmade this necklace from a sheet of silver and silver wire.  The labradorite is set in a bezel with a circle of wire soldered to the top.
