Once dried using a dryer machine, they are sanded to make the edges smooth, and to sand out as many little creases as possible.  They are then carefully hand painted using metallic acrylic paint, then sealed all over with a gloss varnish to protect.\r\nThe dishes are not completely smooth, they each have small lines/bumps (hardly noticeable on most), which adds to the handmade feel and each one’s own uniqueness.
