The lid is made from a mixture of graphic prints, pieced together and has then machine embroidered. The box is fully lined in wool felt in a co-ordinating blue. The lid does not fasten, but is instead weighted closed with a vintage bead.\r\n\r\nThe handmade nature of this item means it has a rustic, raw edge look, with pokey out threads and fuzzy edges. This is entirely deliberate and is not a fault. Please ensure you are happy with the finish by checking the photographs carefully before you purchase.\r\n\r\nThis is a functional item but is not meant to withstand rough handling, so should be kept away from children and animals. The inner construction gives some rigidity, but it won’t survive being squashed.
