I've used part of a large foraged leaf as the 'frame' for the focal area and decided to go for a simplistic, semi abstract background to loosely symbolize the polluted oceans, seas and air and provide contrast. The substrate was roughly textured with gesso and acrylics then overlaid with white inktense to achieve the effect of a slightly messy but relatively plain backdrop without unnecessary clutter.\r\n\r\n Included in the Perfectly Imperfect sale as it's older stock and has a slightly less than perfect background!\r\n\r\n37.5 x 29 x 2.5 cm (framed) / 32.5 x 24 cm (unframed) / 22.5 x 14 cm (actual image size)\r\n\r\nInitialled on the front, signed on the back of the artwork with a signed certificate of authenticity.\r\n\r\nIt will be mounted and framed.\r\n\r\nPlease note that the colours of the original may be slightly different to what you see on your screen owing to the varying configurations of individual computer monitors and other equipment.\r\n.\r\nAll watercolour and mixed media paintings are created on heavyweight acid free watercolour paper.
