It is glazed in a hand made blue and white glaze unique to Wiktorski Ceramics. The frame is painted in white chalk paint and distressed to create a shabby chic style. \r\n\r\nThe picture has a small metal hook which allows it to be hung or free standing, please see pictures for details. \r\n\r\nApprox Size 24 x 29cm\r\nBox depth 2.5cm\r\n\r\nA little about 'WIKTORSKI CERAMICS'\r\n\r\nEach piece is individually hand-made as an exclusive one-off piece of contemporary art and will vary slightly in colour, texture and design.\r\n\r\nI allow the obvious joins in the clay to be totally visible to the eye as it has become an important feature to my ceramics as is the natural, organic nature of my work.\r\n\r\nOnce the piece is made it is left to dry for approximately one week. It is then fired for 10 hours to biscuit temperature. The piece is then glazed using one or two of my secret recipes and fired to stoneware temperature for a further 12 hours.\r\n\r\nThe piece is then ready to send to my customers. As you can appreciate this is a very lengthy process which is reflected in the price and quality of my work.
