{"url":"https://folksy.com/items/7182284-snowdrops-stained-glass-suncatcher-flower-030","title":"Snowdrops Stained Glass Suncatcher Flower 030","price":25.0,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"A stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.\r\n\r\nI originally designed it for a commission and liked it so much this pretty Snowdrop ‘picture’ is now in my catalogue. \r\n\r\nThe suncatcher is in the form of a snowdrop with one flower head plus bud with petals of lovely white and iridescent glass which shines with hints of palest green and pink.\r\n\r\n The leaves are pretty bright greens and round the flower is lovely gluechip glass which has a frosty effect, a gently textured clear glass.\r\n\r\nRound the picture I have formed a strengthening frame using twisted wire to give it the effect of a plaque.\r\n\r\nThe suncatcher hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached at the top by soldered rings.\r\n\r\n I love this snowdrop design. It looks absolutely stunning hanging up in the light where it shines and the different textures of glass give it life and sparkle.
