The other sections of the butterfly are i textured clear glass to give it extra shimmer.\r\n\r\nI've made the little red head in my hotpot kiln and added tiny dichroic chips for eyes.\r\n\r\nI'm really pleased with this design of butterfly and also with the idea of making one for each month / birthstone.\r\n\r\nThis will make a wonderful present for yourself or for someone you love.\r\n\r\n It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room. \r\n\r\nThe suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the butterfly, to its quirky curls.\r\n\r\nThis item is absolutely individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.\r\n\r\nIt is 12cm wide and 9cm tall.\r\n\r\nThe 4th photo shows a full set of all 12 Birthstone butterflies  I usually have several different months in stock.\r\n\r\nThe 5th photo shows a birthstone colour chart in case you want a different month. If so please contact me and i will make one for you in the appropriate colour.\r\n\r\n I usually keep one in stock of each design.
