The edging is knitted separately then sewn on.  You will need to know how to do intarsia and fair isle to knit this pattern.\r\n\r\nThe pattern chart is provided in two formats: 1 x A3 (11 x 17) and 2 x A4 (8.5 x 11).  If you do not have an A3 printer or would prefer to print two A4 charts and join them together there are instructions for how to do this.\r\nI usually back this blanket with quilting, there are instructions in the pattern for how to do this.\r\n\r\nMaterials required:  pair of 3.25mm knitting needles, darning (sewing up) needle\r\nQuilting if required 47cm x 62cm\r\nRowan Cotton Glace 100% cotton:   5 x 50g main colour;  very small amounts of 7 different shades.  Some of the shades used in the pattern have been discontinued but there are similar shades available in this yarn.  You can buy a knitting kit in my Folksy shop for this blanket which provides you with sufficient yarn to knit and sew it up.\r\n\r\nThe PDF file will be sent to your mail address as an attachment.
