We all go through storms in life, they are pretty much non-negotiable unfortunately and anyone who has known loss understands the tidal waves of grief you ride.

Losing my Dad led me to Abstract Art as part of my therapy, and 'Through the Storm" was a piece I created when I didn't know how to express my feelings in words.

People often refer to the gold in this painting as a boat, which is a good way of seeing the colours and expressive marks....riding your way through a storm that is swirling all around you in the safety of the boat of hope.
