Watercolour, what's not to love?

I'm what some refer to as a 'Self taught Artist'. Essentially, I forged my own path. From an early age I had a deep longing to paint. At first I experimented, I dabbled, I skirted around. I dipped a toe in this, an elbow in that, deciding the temperature just wasn't right. I read, explored, practised. And then I discovered Watercolour, set sail and never looked back. My paintings now travel much further than me, Australia, Canada, US and Europe. I hope you like what you see because I love what I do.

I paint Landscapes and Seascapes with bold and emotive skies, guided by nature’s wonderful colours and a healthy imagination. Animals and flowers as I see them, sometimes quirky, sometimes haunting and expressive. My paintings are inspired by places I have visited and memories I hold close. All the paintings on my page are originals, signed on the front and rear.

My paintings are mostly supplied unframed and unmounted, the images with frames are for illustration only. My paintings are a standard A4 (297mm x 210mm) or A3 (420mm x 297mm) size. I use only artist quality paints and paper and work from my home studio in Staffordshire, where I share a home with my wife, daughter and Tiggs the cat, when he can be bothered to show up.

Postage: I nearly always work with paper sizes A4 & A3, I use high quality watercolour paper which cannot be folded or rolled.
Paintings are sent in a flat, reinforced Colompac envelope. I offer Free Delivery for all UK customers (accept for Framed Paintings).
