About me

The Linen Cat offers a collection of textile designs ranging from softies to soft furnishings, with an emphasis on style and quality. I like the contrast of plain, natural fabrics, such as linen and wool against bright cotton prints and I’m a little bit in love with tweed. A lot of my influence comes from children’s drawings, Scandinvian design and nature resulting in a simple, retro feel.

I started The Linen Cat after finding myself at home raising a family, having earlier completed a degree in Theatre Design, specialising in costume. It gives me a creative outlet and has become my passion; I aim to create beautiful gifts in limited stock and new ranges are added frequently, so do keep checking. You can find out more about me at www.thelinencat.com and also read my blog at http://thelinencat.wordpress.com .

The boring but necessary bit

On everything I sell, distance selling regulations apply, so you have 7 working days after receiving the item to request a refund and return it, in the same condition it was sent out. A full refund, including outgoing postage will be made on receipt of the items; I will not however make a refund for the return postage (unless the items are faulty), that is your responsibility. If the items are received back damaged (other than postal damage) then only a part refund will be made and you are responsible for the return delivery, items not received will not be refunded so a 'proof of posting' certificate as minimum is recommended. Please contact me before posting your order back, just so I know it's on it's way, thanks.

Lastly, some of my products contain small parts such as buttons or beads and these items are not suitable for children under 36 months.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
