Welcome..........and thanks for calling.

I am a sculptor from the North West of England. I have another life as a Mum which runs roughly parallel to my artistic existance. Occasionally, when these worlds collide an artwork is created.

I currently have a studio at The University of Salford where I am studying for an MA in Contemporary Fine Art and a small pottery at home. I'd like to say my pottery was a large white room with big windows and state of the art equipment. Actually it's a slightly leaky garage with squirrels nesting in the roof and tools cunningly disguised as kitchen utensils.

My Folksy store is an outlet for my ceramic gifts. I make these to fund the more frivolous aspects of my practice. I have been accepted on a teacher training course to teach in Further and Higher Education. They won't give me a bursary so I'd ideally like to partially fund my studies too.
