About Me

My name is Vivienne Rickman-Poole. I am based in Snowdonia, North Wales.

Originally a painter, my work is currently centred around photography. I use a mixture of vintage, toy and digital cameras, often modified, crossing the boundaries into one anothers era.

My work has been described as an eclectic mix, and takes inspiration from the visual references I makes in day-to-day life. I love the way the camera can wrap me up in the warm nostalgia of the past, absorb me in the atmosphere, movement and sounds of the present and yet leave me empty, wondering about the future...
