DEBORAH GOOD Profile

Hi. my name is Deborah and I love sewing - anything!
I live in a lovely market town in west Kent, with my two teenage children - one of each.
I retired from teaching after having my eldest child - having taught needlework and textiles in the same school for 17 years!
I then started my own business working from home making bespoke window dressings and soft furnishings.
Eight years ago I started teaching Adult Education classes one day a week and a private class for a small group of like minded women on another day. I love teaching adults - my girls (no men yet!!) are so enthusiastic and fun to work with it doesn't feel like work!
In my spare time (!!) I shop for lovely vintage fabrics and old embroidered linens and bits and bobs for the handmade Home Accessories and gifts that I sell on Folksy, and at local craft fairs.
I have a pretty, bright workroom in the house, that I love to work in, surrounded by all my fabrics and treasures, thinking of new ideas for lovely things to make and do.
I hope you enjoy browsing my shop on Folksy.
