I was seduced by an unfinished 1930’s butterfly quilt from the US on eBay. On a whim I bought it and determined to learn how to finish the quilt, my patchwork obsession was born.

I’m a mum of 3 kids under 6. I started making little quilts for my own children. I made a couple of ‘kits’ for friends to make up into quilts for their kids, and so MD&M was born.

My children’s quilts have been loved and cuddled, sat on, slept under, and wrapped around. They are blankies, den roofs, car blankets and poorly comforters. They are woven into the patchwork of my kid’s lives and memories of childhood. I know your quilt will become a treasured possession too.
