I have always been surrounded by people making things. I come from a long line of woodworkers, rug latchers, knitters, bakers, dress-makers, you know strange people with homes bursting at the seams with wool and wood and slightly sawdusty/fluffy chaos and cosiness. It really couldn't turn out any other way and although now I have a 'proper job' and a sensible boyfriend and two small children, the sparkley things call to me and I answer.
