Like a lot of mummies, I found the lead up to my son's first teeth quite distressing (for us both) and hated the thought of constantly dosing the lil fella with paracetamol.

I had heard of Amber Teething Necklaces but was skeptical as I'd already spent a small fortune on teething rings, gels, homeopathic powders, chew toys............... All of which offered some short-term relief once his discomfort started, but nothing that soothed and calmed over a long period or that put an end to teething misery even beginning.

Then, the poor wee mite got four new teeth in two weeks and I made the bleary eyed decision to give the amber a try. The next tooth appeared without drama or tears and I was converted! I have since heard from a lot of other mums singing the praises of the necklaces and how they not only helped with teething, but also to calm their lil ones during colds and growth spurts.

I started Dino-Daisy to help spread the word and to offer mummies some more choice when choosing their Amber Jewellery - after all, your lil ones will probably wear their necklace/anklet/bracelet every day for two years....and beyond!

Having majored in Jewellery Making and Design whilst at university in Melbourne, I aim to create unique and unusual pieces for mummies and babies using the beautiful amber beads gifted to us by mother nature.
