I’m self-taught and work mainly with vintage items. I love the fact that the lining of a bag was once someone’s favourite dress, or that a pair of curtains were drawn to keep the nosey neighbours from prying. But then I’m a daydreamer. I want to give these old items a new lease of life – after all, life begins at 40 (or 50, or 60).

Bags: Each Cosy bag is a one-off and will not be repeated. Cosy bags are practical, pretty and strong. They are as gorgeous on the inside as they are on the outside. Cosy bags are created mainly from leather. Other materials used are vintage, Japanese, limited-edition and second-hand fabrics. All fabric is cleaned and leather is sprayed with a guard to protect it against the elements. All bags are specialist dry-clean only unless otherwise stated. Commissions are welcome.

Jewellery: Cosy jewellery is like confectionery for your ears, neck and wrists. I use mainly vintage beads from all over the world that are at least 25 years old. I will state where vintage components have been used. Please note that while the vintage beads and chain I use are in good condition, some will show signs of ageing. I will always state where I use nickel-free findings. If you like a particular design I can make it with nickel-free items where possible.

Delivery/postage: All items are sent by First Class post unless otherwise stated. There is free delivery on single items priced £75 and over and will be sent by Special Delivery. All orders will be sent within two days of receiving payment. If the order is taking a long time to get to you (the Royal Mail states this is five working days or more), please let me know and I will chase it up. If your item has been lost in the post, I can either make another item the same as you ordered, replace it with something similar of the same value, or refund you the full price of the item plus postage.

Returns/refunds: If you want to cancel your order, you must inform me in writing (email is fine) within seven working days of receiving the item. You will receive a full refund, including all postage. Items must be returned (preferably by Recorded Delivery, the cost of which will be refunded) and I would appreciate it if the order was returned within 14 days. Please return all items in the same condition they were sold.
