I'm a British artist, textile collector, vintage-mad mother, living and working in London. I run a small business called Cool Mummy which creates beautiful things and unforgettable experiences for children.
Some time ago on a rainy afternoon in my bright studio in London, while I worked on a commissioned painting, my daughter Sacha was finishing her literacy homework. Out of the blues, she announced to me in her 7 year old serious voice “ what you do mummy is so cool”…
A few weeks later and following a conversation I had with my best friend about the challenge of finding a special gift for her daughter, my endless confusion about how to reconcile motherhood, work and the need for creative expression resulted in the birth of Cool Mummy.

After a decade working with and for other people, I finally decided to knuckle down and make creative living a lifestyle. It’s been a challenging and very rewarding journey.
