Hello! I am 27 and live in Winchester, Hampshire. I work full time for the good D.I.Y chain (!) and my hobbies include postcrossing.com, craft making, music, films, baking and (trying) to keep fit.

At the moment, I am busy making handmade shopping bags out of old curtains for a fete i am doing in June at The Holy Trinity Church in Winchester (holytrinitywinchester.co.uk).

I like to make bags in general. My favourite fabric has to be felt because it is easy to use, doesn't need to be hemmed, is cost effective and comes in a variety of different colours. I enjoy playing with beads, buttons, embroidery, fancy fabrics.

At the moment i am working on some music-themed felt bags. My current idea is Depeche Mode's 'Just Can't Get Enough' and am thinking of covering the front panel in a mess of ribbon, button, zip, beads ect. We'll see.

My favourite artists are: Van Gogh, Francis Bacon, Goya, Hironymus Bosch, Munch, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Rodin, Issey Miyake, John Galliano, Zandra Rhodes, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Pollock.
