Working from rural Wiltshire, much of my work has some rustic influence. The wood is locally sourced or recycled and often has bark inclusions or natural aspects to it. The tactile feel of wood is a major part of it's appeal and I try to make the most of it. I generally make one off items and therefore rarely repeat things. Partly this is due to the nature of the material I work with. I also make smaller items such as bobbins, hair sticks, drop spindles and crochet hooks. Again though these are often similar they will never be identical. If something is wanted and not in the shop please feel free to contact me and ask. I happily do commissions so if you have something in mind please ask and if it is possible I will do it.
