I live in Cornwall and I've been self-employed for 7 years now having spent 10 years working as the manager of a National Trust Art Gallery on the Cotehele estate.I enjoy working for myself now and sell my work through a variety of outlets across the UK.

I also carry out repairs and alterations to any type of bead jewellery,sourcing rare and ancient beads from across the world to a clients specifications.

My interest in applique and embriodery comes from a fascination with American 'folk art' often produced by women using simple materials and techniques without any special training.

Birds feature widely in my work; I just love them and enjoy watching them.I also draw inspiration from my collection of antique English ceramics, in particular some of the motifs used in the decoration of English 'Delft'.
