I run a small business designing, making and repairing stained glass windows but in between jobs I like to make quirky little things to sell on here! Inspiration comes from many sources; children's books, wallpaper and fabric patterns, logos and trademarks, poster art, the natural world…

I like to use Polish mouth-blown glass which comes in a vast array or gorgeous colours and has little air-bubbles and striations which give the glass a lot of "life". I also like to use recycled bottle-glass, which I make myself by cutting open the bottles and flattening them out in my kiln. The glass produced is similar to antique glass and comes in a range of blues, greens and ambers, as well as clear.

I try to post items as soon as possible (usually next day if I can) by first class post. I always obtain a proof of posting receipt.

The shipping cost I quote also covers any other fees I may incur (i.e. Paypal and Folksy) as well as the postage and packaging costs. I try to recycle packaging materials where possible, while still making sure you receive a beautifully and safely packed item.
