Sunflower Design was founded and run by Janet Merryweather in Nottingham. Originally called Sunflower Soft furnishings when she set up in 2005 making curtains & blinds, in 2011 she took the decision to change the name as she had been designing bags & gifts for a couple of years & more recently began teaching. Sunflower was the name of her son in her tummy when pregnant so this is really her second baby!
2011 has proved an exciting year with Janet ,moving into studio premises with Emma Learoyd Design(www.emmalearoyddesign.co.uk), teaching workshopsfrom the new Studio as well as Husqvarna(www.husqvarnastudio.co.uk)
Janet’s success to date has been built on her gorgeous products, but also on her honest, friendly and exceptional customer service.
