Profile
Thank you for visiting my store!
I’ve always had a passion for all things creative, from painting and drawing, through to textile work. I need to keep my hands busy at all times! But my one true love is, of course, jewellery-making, in particular, working with beautiful gemstones.
I’ve been making jewellery for several years now, having studied silversmithing, as well as having taken several jewellery-based further education classes. By 2009, when my hobby started to take over my life and my home, I started to sell my work!
I specialise in limited edition, handcrafted gemstone jewellery, both contemporary and vintage-inspired. I find endless inspiration in the colours and textures of the world around me, so I’m never short of new ideas! All pieces are limited edition or one of a kind.
I hope you’ll find something here to suit your style, and budget, either as a special gift for a loved one, or simply a treat for yourself. Enjoy!
Shop Policies
Postage
Once I receive payment I post as soon as possible - usually within 48 hours. (I don't post at weekends.)
You will be advised when the item is dispatched – please bear in mind, that once the package is within the postal service, it is wholly beyond my control, and the time it will take to arrive can only be estimated. If an item is required in a time-sensitive manner, please allow sufficient time for delivery, or contact me before buying to discuss delivery options.
All items posted to UK addresses are sent ‘first class’ with proof of postage. If you wish to upgrade this to special delivery, please contact me for a new price quotation and revised custom listing.
International orders are sent by International Airmail with proof of postage. This can be upgraded to 'international signed for' if desired, please contact me for a new price quotation and revised custom listing.
Items sent via 'Special Delivery' or 'International Signed-for' are trackable whilst in the UK and include insurance.
Please note that international buyers are responsible for any taxes or duties due on the item as it passes through customs.
Refunds and Exchanges
If there are any issues with your order, please do contact me as soon as possible to enable me to resolve them to your complete satisfaction, before leaving your feedback.
If it is necessary to return an item, postage fees in both directions are the responsibility of the buyer, refunds will only be made for the value of the item itself and only where there is a defect or damage to the piece, and only once returned and inspected.
The item must be unworn – this is essential with earrings, for hygiene reasons – and in the same condition it was received, in the original packaging materials. Please obtain proof of posting or make insurance arrangements when returning an item.
I package all items with care and expect them to arrive with you in perfect condition. However, things can happen in transit beyond my control. If when an item arrives with you, you are less than delighted, please contact me and I'll be happy to address your concerns. Please retain all packaging and labelling if there is any concern over the condition the parcel arrives in, as the postal service may require this for inspection. You may also be asked to photograph the item if it was sent internationally, and damage has occurred in transit.
Colours / Sizes
I aim to provide clear photographs to allow you to see my designs, but please bear in mind that they are taken in close up, and tend to make smaller items appear larger than they are in reality. Sizes are included in each listing, so please check these against a ruler to ensure that the finished item will meet your requirements.
I endeavour to ensure that colours are correctly represented in my photographs, but differences in monitor displays may create slight variations in shades.
Photographs are often the actual item you will receive, or what I deem to be a clear representation of the product if I have made several. Due to irregularities in gemstones themselves, and the handmade nature of my work, please be aware that there may be slight differences between items, and that this is to be expected with handcrafted products.
Adjustments
If an item needs to be altered once sent out, please contact me to ask whether the item can be modified. It must be returned and re-sent out at the buyer’s expense, and I reserve the right to make a price adjustment if it is warranted – however, you would always be advised of this before any adjustment is made.
Gift Packaging
All jewellery will be sent packed ready for gift-giving in either tissue paper and an organza pouch, or a gift box. My gift boxes are made from recycled materials.
