Owl, still as a post, watched with liquid, shiny eyes as the apple wood came to life in the darkness.
Through the whispering leaves came a hare, picking his way carefully, stopping each time a fresh scent rippled across his short muzzle whiskers. Beneath the oak tree he stopped, gave one of his long, fabulous ears a rub and looking up said, 'Good evening Murgatroyd'.
'Good evening indeed to you too Bean,' said the Owl, "It's time to make our way to the workshop. We have customer orders waiting!" "

On an apple wooded hill near a 'Shire river sits the workshop of Murgatroyd & Bean.
Murgatroyd (the Owl) & Bean (the Hare) have known each other for a very long time. At a young age they were apprenticed to the applewood's tailor, Meles-Meles the badger, where they learnt their stitch craft and became friends with the Human, Kathleen.
In their workshop they make all sorts of stitched curiosities inspired by the surrounding landscape and tales from the Wood.
