Hi, I’m Becci.

So why MomentsByMartha? Martha is my cat – and it sounds so much better than MomentsByBecci! Besides she is far cuter than I am!

I grew up on the south coast of England, in the New Forest, with my parents and two siblings – and have always been fond of creating things – drawing, painting, sewing – anything really that allowed me to build on something, to make something out of nothing, to show off I suppose!

After university – a science degree (Pharmacology), not remotely arty – I moved up the country a little, and now find myself in a little village just outside of Banbury in the Oxfordshire countryside (in a smoke free house incidentally!). I have a full time job, and see jewellery as my hobby, albeit a hobby that I hope to turn into something more.

I love to see a piece appear, to see the effect of one bead with another, to see how this colour and that colour sit together – and to see whether the drop of an earring is right. My pieces are altered often in the course of production until I arrive at something that I am satisfied with – something that I am happy to share with others, and to show off with!

I really hope that you find something that you like here on etsy – if not in my shop then in someone elses, but if you don’t then I’m always happy to try to find new beads or techniques to create an item specifically for you.
