My garments are carefully considered and made with care and attention to detail. I spend a lot of time considering the way a yarn will interact with a person. How it feels to wear and whether will it make you feel special.

I mainly use an old hand operated machine as a structure to begin the handicraft process. I feel it allows me to experiment with materials and techniques that often would not be possible any other way.

I also believe beauty is in simplicity. A simple stitch made with great craftsmanship is elegant and timeless.

I find inspiration in the colours and textures of the natural environment and mainly use natural yarns. I am also a magpie and like shinny yarns too.

My hope is that my love of knitting shines through everything I make.
