Hello and welcome to my little corner of Folksy.

I love to make stuff. In fact, I would say that I feel compelled to make stuff. Really, I am happiest with busy hands and there is nothing so fabulous as seeing something come together that you have made on your own.
At the moment I am enjoying making dolls, felt and fabric plushies, mermaids and fairies as well as needle felted brooches. All treasures for girls.

When I am not crafting I can be found up to my elbows in frosting, sprinkles and sparkles making cupcakes and other confections for my home baking business.

When I am crafting I try to use the best possible ingredients, much like my cakes! My toys are sturdy enough for play and soft enough to love. I hope that it's a pleasure to hold and use one of my things.

The most important part of my life is my beautiful little girl. She has inspired a passion in me for making things for children. I truly believe that kids should have special things, things they cherish which are for them and them alone. They ought to have playthings that they can fall in love with, take with them through the years and which can be used in a variety of games.
