Lucy Robson Profile

Hi I’m Lucy, mum of one and long term fibre addict. I knit, crochet, spin, design, experiment with colours and try and fit it all in around the school run. You can follow the ups and sometimes downs of my crafty life on my blog.

I dye lovely yarns and fibres at home using acid dyes. I enjoy experimenting with colour and aim to produce beautiful, vibrant yarns and fibres that I would love to use myself. I live out in the Essex countryside and the colours I choose are often inspired by my garden and the things I see around me and fond memories of child hood which generally inspire the more sugary named ones! My bag patterns are designed and made by my own fair hand unless otherwise stated.
and now the serious stuffShop Policies
I accept payment via Paypal and will post all parcels to the listed Paypal account address unless otherwise agreed by me first so please ensure that you keep it updated with your current details. Please ensure that you pay for your goods within 48 hours of committing to buy. If for some reason you are unable to do this, please contact me as soon as possible.

If you live locally to me or fancy a trip along to the Colchester SnB knitting group, I can arrange to bring your purchase along and of course refund your postage. Alternatively, send me a message before you complete your payment and I will amend the listing to discount postage for you.

My items are carefully packaged and sent via Royal Mail first class post. Should you require an additional postage service such as recorded delivery, please contact me when paying and I will send you an invoice for the additional cost.

I’m an avid recycler so if some of your packaging is pre-loved it in no way reflects the quality of the goods inside. I’m reducing my carbon footprint and I would hope that you feel the same way.

If your item is not what you were expecting or I have sent the wrong thing by mistake, please contact me as soon as you receive it to discuss this. I will only exchange or refund items once they are returned to me in the same condition as I sent them.

I try to take an accurate picture of the colour of the item and in natural daylight wherever possible. Please be aware that colour can vary from monitor to monitor.

… and finally, if you can’t find quite what you’re looking for in my existing stock, I’ll happily take commissions for custom dye orders or specific fibre/yarn requirements.
