      <title>'circus' tea light holder</title>
<description>this candle holder is based on an amber glass whisky tumbler I got from the charity shop.

it uses black relief paste to outline its naive and playful design of circles and zigzags which are filled in with green and red paint giving a simple but fun effect (it reminds me of clowns, hence the name!), especially when the light shines through it.

it fits a standard tea light - one will be supplied with the purchase...

:: C A R E  I N S T R U C T I O N S ::
not recommended for use in dishwashers - wipe clean with a damp cloth.

      <title>harlequin 1</title>
<description>this candle holder is based on an old glass from my cupboard, found during a clear-out!

the glass has a blobby effect below the rim so I used silver relief paste to go around these and then filled the blobs in with green, blue, yellow and red paint giving a beautiful jewelled effect. The rim is decorated with a diamond pattern, adding more harlequinny flavour to the piece. This looks really amazing, especially when the light shines through it.

it fits a standard tea light - one will be supplied with the purchase...

      <title>green daisies</title>
<description>this candle holder is based on an old whisky tumbler I found in a charity shop!

the glass has completely straight sides, giving it a contemporary style so have tried for a design to match! outlined in gold relief paste, three daisies chase each other around the sides of the glass with simple stripes in lime green and dark green giving a touch of colour to this cheerful and playful design.

it fits a standard tea light - one will be supplied with the purchase...

      <title>magical meadow</title>
<description>this candle holder is a reused glass pot from a scented candle!

this design uses a rich, jewel-like palette of reds, oranges, greens, blues and purples with silver outlines.

the naive and playful flowers curl around the clear glass pot, covering much of the surface and joined by creeping tendrils. the effect is mystical yet fun and looks really lovely, especially when the light shines through it.

it fits a standard tea light - one will be supplied with the purchase...

      <title>Pinstripe Punk Tattybag</title>
<description>This tattybag was upcycled from two skirts rescued from almost going in the bin due to broken zips... the outer is made from the pinstripe one whilst the lining is from the plain one. Hence the weird seams! It's a bucket-shaped bag sewn with intentional ragged and tatty edges, adding to the spontaneous feel of the thing.

The handle is made from the skirt's waistband (remnants of the zip still remain!) and the pockets are made into a feature on the front (also can be used to put things in if you want to).

I've used a zigzag stitch in red to make the feel quite punky and zany, added some recycled red buttons to tie the colours together and made a little charm that hangs happily on the side from one of the belt loops.

Inside, I've added 2 pockets, one of which has a button fastening envelope flap.

It's a bag ideal for someone that wants to look unique and punky and stylish all at the same time!

VITAL STATISTICS:
handle length (button to button): 26"/66cm
depth: 12"/30cm
top width: 12"/30cm
bottom width: 9"/23cm

      <title>Electric Emerald Explosion</title>
<description>This knitted handbag is an explosion of emerald green fluffy wool teamed up with purple, teal and turquoise for a far-out psychedelic feast for the eyes.

It's not for the faint-hearted!

Lined with durable purple cotton and fastens with a discreet magnetic fastener. Handles are incorporated into the design and almost melt out of the shape giving a positively far out feel.

As if this needed any more jazzing-up, I made a flower-loom flower in all the bag's colors and added it to the front and centre. Wow!

<title>Shining Flower upcycled denim "tattybag" clutch</title>
<description>This "tattybag" clutch was upcycled from the leg of a worn-out pair of jeans... the the lining fabric is from a discarded skirt that a friend was about to throw away!

The bag is simple with an asymmetrical envelope flap over the front. This fastens with a big old vintage button.

I've added a bit of glitz to this by stitching gunmetal bugle beads around the edges of the flap and using tiny seed beads in black and gunmetal to embroider a stylised oriental flower to the bottom corner of the bag..

I think this bag has an understated glamour and is really versatile.

width: 10"/25cm

      <title>Blue Lagoon knitted handbag</title>
<description>This knitted handbag is made from a beautiful chunky wool that varies in thickness and space-dyed in all different shades of blue creating a really gorgeous texture.

Subtle and stylish - a little bit zany and definitely unique!

Lined with blue cotton and fastens with a discreet magnetic fastener. Has a nice deep front pocket with flap creating more space for storage as well as extra texture to the design. The handle is nice and long so you can wear this a la mode over your shoulder quite comfortably.

Just to add a bit of a focus, I made a flower-loom flower in the same wool and added a gathered flower in the lining fabric for the front. The bead in the centre of the flower is a big old acrylic nugget that needed a nice home.

VITAL STATISTICS
depth:12"/30cm
width: 10"/26cm
total handle length: 51"/130cm
