    <title>Folksy : theothermousie</title>
    <link>http://folksy.com/shops/theothermousie</link>
<description> Welcome to my shop, I'm Sarah. I've been involved in all types of crafts for about 14 years. I especially love working with fabrics, my favourite being felt because of the vast array of colours it comes in. I put my heart &amp; soul into making all my things. Many times I don't work from a pattern, I just have a spark of an idea &amp; make the rest up as I go along (trust me, it works most of the time!) I love making sweet &amp; whimsical items &amp; dreaming up stories to accompany them. Please note the items I make are for decorative &amp; collectable purposes only &amp; are not intended as toys.

<title>Frankenkitty and The Bride of Frankenkitty</title>
<description>Working in my laboratory I was thinking of Halloween and I began to create a monster out of bits of socks, felt, buttons and faux fur. As I sat sewing the monster became more and more ALIVE! We began to communicate through our shared love of cake until it ran out. Then he told me how lonely he was being the only one of his kind and how he knew society would reject him. I felt his pain, so I quickly set to work and made him a lady friend. It was love at first sight and by the evening they were married!

Both kitties are entirely hand sewn from new clean socks, they have faux fur hair and non matching tails made from socks with a button embellishment. Their eyes are non matching buttons and they have random 'stitch' designs around their bodies. They wear real bandages around their arms and some have been dyed with tea to 'dirty' them. The Bride wears a dress made from netting and it is embellished with two small flowers on the front and back.

Frankenkitty and his Bride both measure approx 8 inches in height

They are not suitable for the very young due to their beautiful button eyes.

PLEASE NOTE the above items are intended for display/collective purposes only and are not intended as toys for this reason please exercise caution when giving them to a younger child.</description>
