I love curves! <br /><br /> ...And I love to experiment... <br /><br /> And so I am very happy that these "doodles" have worked out so well. <br /> This brooch is formed from a piece of curved herringbone stitch which I have curved back on itself, the starting end is worked into the piece further along. It is rather like a partially completed pretzel and to my mind resembles a 3D Paisley motif. I've been asked about brooches for a while and kept pleading the lame excuse of not being sure if such flexible pieces of beadwork would take well to being attached to a brooch back...
