Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
I have been making and selling silver jewellery and silverwork for over10 years now.
My jewellery journey began by going to college to study jewellery retail and manufacture gaining a City and Guilds, NDD and HND in the process. After college I went to Bishopsland to enhance my skills. Following this I set up a workshop and started attending shows and events locally and nationally. Having a fully equipped workshop, has given me a lot of creative flexibility and has enabled me to build up my business and skills.
My work has been recognised by the Craft Council of Great Britain, winning an award for a suite of 18 carat jewellery. which was designed and made by myself.
I have been invited me to exhibit at various events such as The Goldsmiths show, Craftsmen in the gallery Hayfield artists Derbyshire open arts. I have also been a regular exhibitor at the Whitby folk festival and plan to return next year.
I undertake commisons, working with the client so that he or she gets exactly what was intended. This is an area
I am inspired by patterns and the interplay between the environment and us. I like to use a combination of silver with gold detail within plaiting and granulation work as well as in clean simplistic shapes.
Enviromentaly, all my pieces are made by remelting or recycling the silver and gold then the metal is worked into usable forms and then made into the jewellery you see in my shop. A lot of care and attention goes into making each piece, concentrating on the final finish of each piece.
I hope you like what you see and no, I dont have any cats!
