The sign itself is made from wood and the cupcakes are made from fimo polymer clay. The hanger cord is made from plaited string. The string has been fastened to the reverse with several staples either side and strong parcel tape has been added to protect it. It is fairly strong and will hold tea towels and light weight jewellery and small objects. If you wish it to hold heavier things it would be advisable to add a couple of metal fasteners for extra strength.
