The covers of the notebooks are made from cards from a vintage and much-loved Cluedo game. One notebook features Professor Plum (looking a little suspicious...) on the front cover and the Ballroom on the back cover. The other notebook has the spanner on the front and the Library on the back. The cards do show signs of use – we think this adds to the charm of these notebooks! Each upcycled notebook has 40 pages of blank paper which was rescued from an unwanted Verbositi game. Narita was the second album by the New York City heavy metal band Riot, and was named after the Japanese airport controversially built on sacred ground (hence the unusual album cover) and contained slick but powerful hard rock. Measuring a handy 6” (15cm) wide by 8 ””(21cm) tall, the front is made from the vinyl LP itself and back cover is made from the album cover. Inside there are 5 sections of blank white paper, 80gsm, making a total of 100 pages (200 sides). These have been bound to the covers with a strong black waxed paper thread using 6 sewing stations with a Coptic stitch. The inner pages have some photos of the band members taken from the back cover of the album. The coptic stitch allows the notebook to lie flat when open. Use the journal to write ideas, thoughts, make sketches or even to keep a note of your favourite rock lyrics... The bunting has been threaded together with strong silver coloured thread. If the flags were placed end to end on the thread, the bunting would be 90cm long. We’ve included an additional 2m of thread on each garland so that you can spread the flags out if you want to – they slide easily – and there will still be plenty of thread to hang up the bunting. This lovely garland is made from upcycled faded blue denim. It has 9 hand-cut denim hearts. The 3 larger hearts measure 12 cm across and 6 smaller hearts measure 8cm across. The hearts have been threaded onto a dark blue strong linen thread. If the hearts are placed end to end on the thread they stretch for about 84cm. The garland has an additional 2 metres of thread so that the hearts can be spread out if you wish. The hearts have been hand cut and have not been sprayed or treated with anything - this means that they are slightly fraying at the edges and they are soft, rather than rigid on the bunting. This does mean that they will have to be hung in a straight (ish) line.... This bunting has a lovely shabby chic feel and would look lovely in any room. Great for Valentine's day! This version of the game has many London landmarks and streets. Measuring 5.75in (15 cm) high by 8.25 in (21 cm) wide, the front and back covers are made from a section of this vintage game board. These show some of your favourite places in London which feature on the British Monopoly board including Mayfair, Fleet Street and the Strand – and you get to collect £200 as you pass GO and Free Parking too! Inside there are 6 sections of blank white paper, 80gsm, making a total of 144 pages (288 sides). These have been bound to the Monopoly board covers with a strong waxed red linen thread using a 2 needle Coptic stitch. Parts of the map have been laminated to form the cover of the journal whilst other sections have been included inside the journal itself – some sections inside are laminated and others are not. A bookmark has also been made from the map and is included with the notebook. The journal has been spiral bound with an antiqued brass wire. The flowers look hand-painted. These lovely plates were made by Crown Ducal in England between 1935 and 1938. We carefully hand drilled these to create this beautiful cupcake stand. The top plate in the stand is approx. 20cm in diameter (8 in) and the bottom plate is approx. 26 cm in diameter (10 in). The plates are in good condition with some slight signs of wear, including small chips on the underside of the plates and a little wear on the decoration of the plates. These small flaws are to be expected in plates of this age and don’t spoil the loveliness of this pretty cake stand. If you'd like another cake stand the same as this, please let us know as we have plates to make another. Plenty of space on this stand for scones, sandwiches, cakes .... the stand will look gorgeous on display. This cake stand would be a fabulous centrepiece for weddings, baby and bridal showers, afternoon tea parties. This book was obviously well-loved by its previous owner and the covers show signs of this.... We have transformed this lovely children’s book into a great upcycled notebook. The inside pages are of blank white recycled paper. A few pictures from the original book have been saved and included in the notebook. The notebook has 40 pages (80 sides) of blank paper. They are bound with a pale pink wire spiral binder. . Do bear in mind that the covers and stories come from an original, pre-loved Noddy book and therefore will show some signs of use. We think this adds to the charm of this lovely journal. This notebook is great to bring back childhood memories, to doodle and draw, to dream and muse. There is a lovely wrap-around drawing on the front and back of the journals of a tenement in the West End of Glasgow (a tenement is a block of flats which share a common central staircase.) This particular sandstone tenement is in the West End of Glasgow and was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The cover of the journal has been printed in high quality heavy weight paper (220gsm) and the notebook is hand-sewn with very strong linen thread. Inside there are 30 pages of blank white 80gsm paper, giving 60 sides. The journal measures approximately 21 cm x 14.5 cm (8.25in x 5.75in). This listing is for ONE handmade journal in blue. You can choose between ‘Money’ published in the winter of 1994 or ‘The Deep End’, published in 2007 As ‘The Observer’ newspaper says of Granta, it has a ‘blend of memoirs and photojournalism, and champions contemporary realist fiction’. Measuring a handy 6” (15cm) wide by 8 ””(21cm) tall, the front and back are made from the magazine covers. Inside the Money notebook are 86 pages of white blank paper, 80gsm, making a total of 172 sides. Included are selected pages from the magazine containing both short stories and photographs. Inside 'The Deep End' are 5 sections of blank paper, 80gsm, 20 white, 15 yellow, 15 orange and 15 red, making a total of 65 pages (130 sides). This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures from the lovely Spring and Summer months. There are 9 triangular flags, each approx. 21cm long x 17cm across. The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and isn't really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all! The bunting has been threaded with rescued cream wool. If the flags were placed end to end , the bunting would be 160cm (approx 5ft 3in) long.
