A lovely hanging heart which would be perfect as a Mother's Day present. Made using Liberty tana lawn fabric and filled with approx 25g of fragrant dried Provence lavender. The heart, excluding ribbon, measures approx 12cm x 12cm (4 1/2 x 4 1/2). The length, including ribbon, is approx 21cm (8 1/2). This heart is made from a pretty floral Liberty fabric in shades of pale blue, mauve, lilac, white, green and mid blue on a midnight blue background . It is finished with a hanging loop of grey edged blue/grey ribbon and vintage 1930's mirrored glass button. Lavender smells wonderful, repells moths and aids sleep. Made using a lovely cotton lawn fabric of ditzy flowers in dark red, muted blue/grey, golden yellow and bright green on a soft white background. The plain fabric is beige linen and has been appliqued with a heart in the lawn fabric and embellished with a vintage mother of pearl button. A fabric pins label has also been appliqued above the heart. The cushion has been backed with mid blue felt so that your pins don't damage the lovely fabric on the front. A hanging loop of bright yellow satin ribbon has also been added to the top. The cushion is filled with polyester stuffing. The cushion measures approx 10cm x 8cm (4 x 3). It is made using a lovely Vintage flowery fabric, probably from the 1970's, in shades of pink and lilac and is lined in deep pink. Both fabrics are cotton. It has also been interlined to give it a more luxurious and slightly padded feel. A ribbon tag in complimentary colours has been added to the zip. The purse measures approx 7 1/2 (19cm) x 5 1/2 (14cm). This item can be washed, but I would recommend a gentle wool cycle and a cool temperature. Our home is non-smoking and pet free. The fabric is typical of the period with a design of cheerful flowers in shades of blue and turquoise, and vivid green leaves on a white background. The bag is lined with a bright acid green cotton, which compliments the main fabric. It measures approx 16 (40.5cm) wide x 15 (38cm). The flat unstructured base is approx 4 (10cm) deep. Each strap is approx 25 1/2 (65cm) from where it attaches to the bag to the other attachment. To add a more luxurious and soft feel, the tote has been lightly padded. There are two internal pockets made from the vintage fabric and the bag closes with a magnetic clasp. Machine washable on a wool setting and at a cool temperature. Air dry.
