The design is hand drawn and then worked on Illustrator. once I am happy with the design I handcut the stencil to create my screen. The inks are water based but are then heat fixed to make them permanent. The design is repeated at both ends of the towel. Pictures show one quarter of the tea towel. All my designs are based on my own drawings but my work is also influenced by the Mid Century Modern and Scandinavian styles. I have long worked with vintage fabrics and it is the rarity of some of the designs that has inspired me to print my own fabrics. Each teatowel measures a generous 18.5 x 31 inches and can be washed at 30 degrees C. Iron on reverse.
