I grew up on a small holding in Cumbria, in the far north of England, and looked after ducks, dogs, ferrets, banties, goats and cats!...from a love of animals and a constant desire to 'make things', I became an animal sculptor. For the past 30 years I've been lucky enough to earn my living 'creating' and I haven't lost the urge to make things yet!

After getting a Fine Art degree specialising in sculpture, I ran a small shop for a couple of years in the market town where I still live, before going on to sculpt the originals for the well know figurine manufacturing companies; Border Fine Arts, Country Artists and Beswick. After 15 years of that I decided to sculpt and produce my own work again, and that's when Kirsty Armstrong Sculpture came into being.
I now make limited edition realistic sculptures of animals (especially red squirrels, and to name-drop shamelessly, HRH Prince Charles has a piece of my work!). I also make a whole range of other pieces from wall plaques to brooches to treasure boxes which combine sculpture and design. I cast the metal sculptural elements in my shed myself and use different techniques to produce unique pieces. I have also started to make a range of dog related items...and there'll be more breeds added in the New year.

I now work from home with my husband, boys and Flat coated retriever; Indy, for company. I've taken over the garage and the shed, and I thoroughly enjoy being my own boss again, endlessly 'creating'....

Buying from me

I've been a sculptor for 30 years, and I’ve worked for various figurine manufacturers. Now, I design & produce my own intricately detailed animal sculptures, wall plaques, boxes and brooches, and also accept commissions. They are all created in my workshop in Cumbria, UK.
Orders are dispatched as quickly as possible, and I'll email you once it's been dispatched.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

You can cancel the order and get a refund (minus the original postage costs) within 14 days of receipt provided the item has not been used or marked. You are responsible for the cost of the return postage and proof of posting must be obtained, retained and produced if required. Faulty items can be returned for a full refund within six months of payment being made.
