Double Butterfly Pendant

This simple and elegant pendant looks gorgeous with a LBD or jeans and a t-shirt. It will be come one of your jewellery-wardrobe staples!

I heat and cool a sheet of sterling silver before putting it through my wonderful rolling machine in the basement of my shop. Alongside the silver I put some lace which impresses it's pattern on to the silver leaving the delicate texture you see here. I then handcut the butterflies from the sheet, file the edges and then heat the silver once again. Then I dome the butterflies and link them together with teeny jump rings. The necklace it hangs from is a loerly, delicate rope chain. All elements are sterling silver. The largest butterfly is approximately 2.5cm wide and together they drop roughly 4-5cm. Please choose between a 40cm/16 chain or 44cm/18 chain.

Your necklace will arrive in a smart silver and black box with 'jemima lumley jewellery' embossed, in silver, on the lid. It closes with a magnetic snap fastener.

Please note that because every part is handmade there will be slight variations from the photos.

cut out cuff - silver and vintage lace

A labour of love if ever there was one!

This sterling silver cuff is approximately 3/70mm wide and 6.5/170mm circumference. Before I cut the silver, I put it through the rolling mill with vintage lace, which gives you the gorgeous pattern. Based on the design of a stunning piece of Victorian lace I own, I have create this asymetrical design and lovingly cut out, and filed the shape until as near perfect as I can get it! Days are spent (happily) filing every nook and cranny.

Each piece is made individually, so there is a 2 week delay between ordering and posting. The cuff will arrive in it's own black box, with velvet style pad inside.

Please refer to shop policies for further details.

Please convo me for any further details.

Handmade Wild Roses Small Pendant

A beautiful, simple everyday wear necklace from my new Autumn '11 Wild Roses Collection.

This stunning flower pendant is approximately 1cm across at their widest point, and hangs from a 16"/40cm or 18"/44cm delicate trace chain.

This pendant is entirely handmade and therefore will differ from the one in the photograph. I start by handcutting with a piercing saw several circles. These I put through my rolling mill which gives me uneven ovals shapes. I file the edges and drill tiny holes near the centres, and then I heat them. This allows me to dome the ovals to different depths so that they sit comfortably inside each other. Through the holes I thread silver wire with a bobble on the end and then form a loop at the back to hang from the chain. Every element of this necklace is sterling silver.

Your necklace will arrive in my personalised black and silver boxes, with 'jemima lumley jewellery' on the lid, and a magnetic snap fastener. Inside there is a black velveteen cushion, and if you choose gift wrapping, the box will be wrapped in paper and then ribbon with a gift tag is tied around it.

Handmade Wild Roses Large Ring

This ring is a real show-stopper from my new Autumn '11 Wild Roses Collection.

I love this new ring! Really eye catching, and also an elegant and original cocktail style ring. The largest dome is approximately 1.5cm wide, and the smaller domes within it move independently, lovely to fiddle with in quiet moments!

This ring is entirely handmade and therefore will differ from the one in the photograph. I start by handcutting with a piercing saw several circles. These I put through my rolling mill which gives me uneven ovals shapes. I file the edges and drill tiny holes near the centres, and then I heat them. This allows me to dome the ovals to different depths so that they sit comfortably inside each other. Through the holes I thread silver wire with a bobble which I wrap around the shaft of the ring. Every element of this necklace is sterling silver.

Please ensure your ring size is correct as I cannot enlarge or reduce the size of these rings should it be incorrect.

Your ring will arrive in my personalised black and silver boxes, with 'jemima lumley jewellery' on the lid, and a magnetic snap fastener. Inside there is a black velveteen cushion, and if you choose gift wrapping, the box will be wrapped in paper and then ribbon, with a gift tag, is tied around it.

Ring of Butterflies Pendant

Simplicity itself! A gorgeous ring of butterflies and flowers attached to a perfect circle of silver.

This pendant is approximately 4cm across, and on it sit two butterflies, two flowers and some simple circle blossoms. The ring moves independently on the necklace so that as you move, it does too, never static. Every piece is handcut from sheet silver that has a delicate lace pattern imprinted on it. The centres of the butterflies and flowers are 9k recycled gold.

All my jewellery arrives in an elegant silver and black box with 'jemima lumley jewellery' embossed in silver on the lid. The foam pad inside is black velvet style and holds the jewellery firmly in place during transit. The lid snaps closed with a magnetic fastening.

Please note that all pieces are handmade to order, so will vary slightly from the photograph.

Personalised name necklace (up to five letters)

A new item for my personalised jewellery range which I just couldn't resist making! I've always enjoyed creating jewellery with words and letters, so this is an obvious choice for me. It is handcut and filed until it looks just right. You can see how I make the necklaces here... http://jemimalumley.blogspot.com/2012/02/step-by-step-making-word-necklace.html

The style of the lettering is all my own, and generally it looks best with a capital letter, or all lowercase, rather than all capitals. Due to the nature of this style, the length of the name, or the weight of the capital letter, the name doesn't always hang dead straight. I think this is part of the appeal, almost like a signature, and it appears jaunty and fun! I would describe my style as a handwritten italic - it is not based on any particular typeface. Please ask to see a rough of the name before I commit to making cutting out the silver if you are anxious about the look of the necklace.

You needn't have a name, of course, what about 'love', 'adored', 'sweetheart', 'mum'..... the choices are endless. And how about Mrs.... or Ms......, or Miss...... what a great wedding gift, or 21st birthday present!

Please send the word or name you require to me using the contact seller option. If you require more than 5 letters please see other listing.

lonesome lovebird - sterling silver and 18K gold

Aw....just look her, all on her lonesome....

This little bird, unlike her big sisters on their bowers (listed elsewhere) sits on her branch, alone but for a piece of blossom. This little pendant is suspended from sterling silver chain attached by loops at either end of the branch. The branch is approximately 20mm long. The birds eye, and the centre of the blossom are blobs of 18k gold. The chain fastens with a sterling silver toggle clasp, and is about 18inches in length.

I start by putting the silver sheet through the rolling mill with some vintage lace. From the sheet I've cut out the bird and blossom. I've created the branch from 2mm wire, loving soldered them all together.

All my pieces are made to order, and each piece will differ slightly. Please allow approximately 1-2weeks from order to shipment.

All my jewellery is sent in a smart black box with 'jemima lumley jewellery' embossed in silver on the lid.

Daisy Charm Necklace

Inspired by my daughter making daisy chains one day, I wondered if I could make something as delicate in silver. The result is a collection of jewellery with teeny, tiny daisies on them.

These daisies are 0.8, 0.6 and 0.5cm in diameter, the smallest one is 9k recycled gold with a silver centre, the silver ones have a gold centre. All elements, including the chain and clasp are sterling silver. The chain measured 18 or 46cm and has a trigger clasp. Every piece is handcrafted, so please expect slight variation from the photographs.

The necklace comes in a black box, with 'jemima lumley jewellery' printed in silver on the lid.

simple daisy stud earrings

Sweet and simple earrings from my daisies collection..

These studs are so gorgeously simple you'll find they go with everything! Each flower head is handcut from sheet silver that I have put through a rolling mill with sandpaper to give each one a subtle texture. Then each flower is domed and a small blob of (recycled!) 18k gold soldered in it's centre. The earrings are approximately 3/16, 5mm wide.

Each piece is made individually, so there is a 1 week delay between ordering and posting. The ring will arrive in it's own black box with my name in silver embossed on the lid, with velvet style pad inside. Please refer to shop policies for further details.

Silver Circular Lovebird Pendant

This lovebird on a ring is a slight departure for me. A customer inspired commission, I just think it's gorgeous, and felt I had to make it for ety too! Inspired by the work of Rob Ryan and Tord Boontje, the pieces from this collection are very dear to me. One of those necklaces you'll want to wear every day.

The circle is approximately 3cm in diameter, and the bird is 1.5cm from beak to tail. There are three tiny blossoms around the circle, each one handcut and only about 0.6cm wide! The chain measures 46cm or 18 inches, and fastens with a trigger clasp. All elements are sterling silver, with the bird's eye and flower centres made from 9k recycled gold. Every piece is individually handcrafted, so please expect slight variation from the photographs.

The necklace will come packaged securely in neat black box with 'jemima lumley jewellery' printed on the lid in silver.
