This calendar showcases twelve photographs of graffiti which I've taken all over the place on my travels. Some of them might be familiar from my shop and others are being seen for sale for the very first time. It's the one where the wonderful John Cleese is a civil servant in the Ministry of Silly Walks and true to his role stalks around his office in a series of increasingly daft walks. Someone has taken the time and effort to cut out a stencil of eight stages of the most iconic of the Silly Walks and then to go to a particularly unattractive and scruffy industrial area on Manchester to spray the stencil right at the bottom of a garage door. Very bizarre! The print is on Brilliant Museum Satin Matte Paper, which is acid free, lignin free, archival and weighs 300gsm. There is the slightest of sheens and textures to the paper and the results are stunning when printed with my archival Vivera pigment inks for a long and vibrant life. The walls will be lined with wooden shelves and the shelves will be lined with jar after jar of colourful confectionery delights - red, pink, yellow, green, stripy, two coloured. They'll be sweet, sour, soft, hard and chewy but all delicious and available in any quantity and any mixture. This photograph was taken in a shop just like this - a real beauty! Someone has taken the time and effort to cut out a stencil of eight stages of the most iconic of the Silly Walks and then to go to a particularly unattractive and scruffy industrial area on Manchester to spray the stencil right at the bottom of a garage door. This calendar showcases twelve photographs of graffiti which I've taken all over the place on my travels. The calendar is twelve loose leaf pages, each with one beautiful full colour image which measures aprox 118x113mm, the days of the month are below the image. Each page measures 118x159mm, there is a cover page showing a thumbnail of each month's picture and the whole set is bound with a paper band.
