This calendar showcases twelve photographs of graffiti which I've taken all over the place on my travels. Some of them might be familiar from my shop and others are being seen for sale for the very first time. The calendar is twelve loose leaf pages, each with one beautiful full colour image which measures aprox 118x113mm, the days of the month are below the image. Each page measures 118x159mm, there is a cover page showing a thumbnail of each month's picture and the whole set is bound with a paper band. Each page is printed on lovely smooth, bright white paper which makes the colours sing. Once the month is finished, you can cut off the days and you'll be left with an Eyeshoot Original to hang, prop, frame and keep forever. Printed to order, by me, in my home studio just for you. It's the one where the wonderful John Cleese is a civil servant in the Ministry of Silly Walks and true to his role stalks around his office in a series of increasingly daft walks. Someone has taken the time and effort to cut out a stencil of eight stages of the most iconic of the Silly Walks and then to go to a particularly unattractive and scruffy industrial area on Manchester to spray the stencil right at the bottom of a garage door. Very bizarre! I've given it a seasonal makeover so now it makes a perfect Christmas card! The walls will be lined with wooden shelves and the shelves will be lined with jar after jar of colourful confectionery delights - red, pink, yellow, green, stripy, two coloured. They'll be sweet, sour, soft, hard and chewy but all delicious and available in any quantity and any mixture. This photograph was taken in a shop just like this - a real beauty! It's the one where the wonderful John Cleese is a civil servant in the Ministry of Silly Walks and true to his role stalks around his office in a series of increasingly daft walks. Someone has taken the time and effort to cut out a stencil of eight stages of the most iconic of the Silly Walks and then to go to a particularly unattractive and scruffy industrial area on Manchester to spray the stencil right at the bottom of a garage door. Very bizarre! I've given it a seasonal makeover so now it makes a perfect Christmas card! Please note that the exact text layout is as on the picture of the folded card. The image is printed directly onto bright white heavy matte paper using archival inks. There's another small image on the back of each card along with my branding and photo details. Each card comes with a white recycled envelope and is safely enclosed and sealed in a cello bag. I'm also including a sample of the paper for you to test your pens on before writing on one of your lovely new cards. Photo paper can be a bit argumentative with some pens.... Please also note that all computer monitors display colours differently and that the actual print may not look quite as it does on your screen. The photograph has been printed on the same paper used in my prints and has been adhered to a lovely quality 12cm square block of plywood, it is just under 2cm deep with lots of beautifully characteristic layers of wood all in different woody colours. The image has been coated in non-toxic varnish and has a slightly textured finish. I have varnished the sides of the block to bring out the colours of the layers as you can see in the final image.. The back is unvarnished and smooth. The blocks are thick enough to free stand, and please note that at this time there is no hole for hanging. Here's what's you'll get - dandelion, tulips, cherry blossom, daisies, freeisas, love in a mist, hydrangea, begonia flowers and more I don't know the name of! The calendar is twelve loose leaf pages, each with one beautiful full colour image which measures aprox 118x113mm, the days of the month are below the image. Each page measures 118x159mm, there is a cover page showing a thumbnail of each month's picture and the whole set is bound with a paper band. Each page is printed on lovely smooth, bright white paper which makes the colours sing.
