About the shop
Wood is an interesting material to work with, steeped in history in both the individual tree and within civilisation. My work incorporates the history of manipulating wood and adds a contemporary twist to its form, to find a place for the wooden object in the modern world.
The wood that I use to create my work has been salvaged from the off-cuts, produced by a local timber yard.
