I've used two different colours - Carnelian and Opal. Opal is a combination of creamy white, blue, mauve and dark pink and shimmering mica powder and Carnelian is a base of red with taupe and black speckles. Both have been melted and layered, which have swirled and marbled into a lovely random pattern. This particular fabric has an Ebony background with wavy blue leaves, russet flowers and swirling green foliage. I've selected a lovely area of the fabric featuring a wavy blue jagged leaf flowing down one side with a trio of russet flowers curving around the other and is surrounded by green foliage and other small flowers. I've then created a fabric flat backed button. Once the button is made, I then secured the button into an antique bronze plated pendant setting, that has a wonderful circular dot pattern to the back.
