So that's what these little guys are! The earring hook itself is silver plated surgical steel, so hypo-allergenic for most people, with silver plated wire used to 'hook' the little fishies! I have used hand-dyed yarn with a mixture of materials including silk, rayon, satin rat-tail and Clon bead cord. There's a cute little Tulip bead as well as hearts, drops and faceted beads.
